What
can I say about the professionalism
of Linda at Eclectic Songs ? Let's
start with she and her staff made
our wedding day ROCK !
From the day we first contacted her
, her professionalism and courtesy
were obvious.
After going over the details of what
WE wanted (not what some DJ wants to
play for their own agenda) she was
more than happy to give us a list of
songs and accommodate our every
choice. Her compiled list of music
is extensive and the choices were
unlimited it seemed. We did have a
few 'oddball' requests which she
handled with no problem at all. She
found the songs somehow and to our
delight added them to the wedding.
As far as being the master of
ceremonies, Eclectic songs couldn't
have done a better job.
We had
so much to do otherwise and they
just were on the spot every time we
needed them to be. |

Believe me, all through the
reception their timing was
impeccable with
introductions, special dance
announcements, and mood
setting music. Whether it's
slow dances, fast dances,
fun dances, kids music, or
background music. They knew
the perfect choice every
time.
All in all we couldn't
recommend a better DJ
service for your event.
Eclectic Songs provided on
the spot communication prior
to the event to ease our
concerns, answered our every
questions either by email or
phone calls, and then gave
us the best musical DJ
service we could ask for.
They even made a few CD's of
our music choices that were
played and let us add them
to the contract ! What a
great idea to remember our
wedding day !
Oh, and by the way, they
are just nice people, plain
and simple, and as far as
we are concerned that's
what makes them easy to work
with .

I wanted to personally thank you again for
an incredible job Eclectic Songs did at
Hudson Valley Community College Foundation's
Celebration of Excellence Gala for Health
Science Programs. Your professionalism and
personality made working with you a
pleasure. I've worked many DJ companies in
my profession and must say that you truly
get it and I really appreciated working with
someone who sees that. You went out of your
way to help make our evening a success. The
CDs that you made to give to individuals was
a wonderful surprise to them and truly
appreciated. I certainly recommend your
services to anyone looking for a DJ and know
that any future events you'll be getting a
call from me.

My daughter,
Suzie, had her Sweet 16 birthday party this
past July and we hired Eclectic Songs to be
our D.J. I honestly cannot say enough about
how absolutely wonderful Linda was
throughout the entire process. Planning a
Sweet 16 party can be similar to planning a
wedding, just on a smaller scale, but crazy
just the same. Linda repeatedly reassured
me that this Suzie’s party and the song list
was entirely up to her (with my approval, of
course). She made some recommendations of
fun things to do to involve the guests
during the party, which I hadn’t even
thought about.
One of my
daughter’s (me too) favorite things that
Linda did was she made CDs of all the songs
my daughter selected and gave them to Suzie
after the party was over. Each CD had a
picture of Suzie on the cover. It was such
a special “extra” and I have never heard of
another DJ. doing anything like that.
Everyone had a
blast at the party, even the adults
(probably to the chagrin of the teenagers).
Linda involved the crowd and everyone had an
amazing time. She was always upbeat and so
much fun!
I’ve been to
more than one function where the DJ was
horrible, uninvolved and just blah. I have
never forgotten those events.
I’ve always
said a DJ can make or break a party. I
guarantee that when a party is DJ’d by
Eclectic Songs, rest assured it’s going to
be a par-tay!!
Linda is a
wonderful person, totally and completely
professional and FUN!! I highly recommend
her DJ services for any function. She
certainly will be the first DJ I call if I
need a DJ. in the future!

Dear Linda and
Debbie,
First, I want to thank you for all your hard
work and attention throughout the wedding
planning process. You accommodated every
request we had and went even further by
coming up with unique ideas that added to
the day and made it that much more special.
The wedding was beautiful, the music was
perfect from the ceremony to the end of the
reception. One thing I really appreciate
was the support I received and the
suggestions/wealth of information you had
for me during times when I really ran out of
ideas for music to play during certain parts
of the reception. I had one of the best
times of my life. It was one of the few
weddings where I really saw almost everyone
get up and dance at some point in time-even
my brother who has never danced in his
life! Again, thank you for making us feel
like we were your number one priority and
doing an above and beyond job! Finally, I
love the fact that any time we want to
reminisce (or listen to our favorite music)
I can play one of the CD's you made us!

Hi, Linda and Deb
Just wanted to
officially say THANKS for making George's Party such
a success. He had a wonderful time and said that
many people told him that they had more fun at this
party than any they have ever been to. You two
certainly assisted with the success. He was thrilled
with it, and said the karaoke more than met his
expectations. Thanks for being willing to accept
song requests and for all of your patience with all of
those singers! By the way, I should tell you that
the teenage boy who sang is one of George's former
students who is actually almost completely deaf. He
wears hearing aids in both ears and has speech
difficulty because of his hearing loss. George was
stunned that he could carry a tune and that he had
the confidence to get up and sing! Thanks for making
it easy for him.

Thank you for
donating your time for Matt's Benefit. You kept the
crowd going promoting the event. We also enjoyed you
playing for our July 2nd party. Everyone had a great
time. People enjoyed the karaoke and dancing. You
were a big hit!
Morgan's 13th
birthday party was a big hit. She and her friends
enjoyed the music at the pool party.
The school dances
have been wonderful! They have been well attended,
the students enjoyed the light show, glow sticks,
disco ball, bubbles, and prizes that were donated.
We plan to have you back for more upcoming dances. |

We would like to highly recommend Linda and Deb for
providing music for our event. We have witnessed several functions
in which they have spun their CD's, but most
recently the ladies DJ'd our daughter's wedding at
the River Stone Manor in Scotia.
They came very
prepared since beforehand there was much contact and
preparation with the bride and groom, as well as the
bride's parents. They went out of their way to make
the bride very secure that the "music" would make
the party." They were dressed professionally, spoke
professionally pronouncing names correctly and most
importantly provided music throughout the reception.
The entire evening
was about the music the bride and groom chose.
Almost all of the requests given beforehand were
honored while, at times, special songs were played.
We wouldn't hesitate
to recommend these two ladies to provide music at
any event, especially a wedding. |

class advisor to the Fort Plain High School Class
of 2008. Last February my class hosted the annual
Fort Plain Winter Ball. While planning the event,
one of the class officers recommended Eclectic Songs
to provide music and entertainment. It turned out to
be one of the best decisions we made. The DJ's were
friendly, engaging and very professional. Our guests
were very happy with, not only the selection of
music but also how the DJ's interacted with the

The expression "the
music makes the party" played so very true for my
daughter's high school graduation. Linda and Deb
made this event very memorable not only for my
daughter but for all those who attended. Linda and
Deb were very professional and in constant contact
with us regarding song lists, and special requests:
They are both very
professional, and they are fun people who love what they
do
Please note that the
kids attending loved the music selections, the
ability to request songs especially Ashley and (oh, and
they played edited versions Mom and Dad, so no
worries about what granny might think!) I have
already booked them for my next graduate's party in
2007!
I have heard Linda and Deb DJ an outside venue, and
DJ at a night club, they are funny, animated and simply
spectacular!

My daughter's Fairy
Tale wedding was a dream come true and I truly feel
our decision to hire Eclectic Songs made her
expectations a reality. I have attended many
weddings in Brooklyn and the Capital District, but
never experienced such professionalism at an event.
To be honest, we were all set to hire a band but are
now delighted with our DJ decision because
everyone danced the night away and enjoyed your
